# How to add custom DNS for any domain in InboxKit?

How to add custom DNS for any domain in InboxKit?

InboxKit automatically configures all essential DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX) for deliverability.
However, you may sometimes need to add **custom DNS records** manually — such as:

- A records

- CNAME records

- TXT verification records

- MX changes

- Custom service configurations (e.g., hosting, tracking, verification)

InboxKit allows full DNS control directly within the dashboard.

## ➕ **Step 3: Add a New DNS Record**

    - **Type** (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)

    - **Name**

    - **Value**

    - **TTL**

## 📌 **Important Notes**

- InboxKit automatically maintains required SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX records.

- Removing these may affect deliverability.

- Always ensure new DNS additions do not conflict with existing authentication records.

- DNS edits may take **1–24 hours** to fully propagate depending on the record type.
