InboxKit allows you to update mailbox details anytime — including the sender name, username, and profile picture. These settings help maintain a professional appearance and improve your email sender identity across campaigns.
You can edit mailbox details directly from the Mailboxes section inside your InboxKit dashboard.
On the left sidebar, click Mailboxes.
You’ll see a list of all active mailboxes, along with their email, platform, status, and renewal date.
Find the mailbox you want to update.
On the right side of the row, click More.
A mailbox modal will open with multiple tabs at the top:
Overview
Credentials
Settings
Forwarding
Click Settings.
You can upload a sender image or generate a GIF:
Click Upload Picture to add a photo (JPG, PNG, GIF up to 5MB).
Click Generate GIF for an AI-generated animated profile avatar.
Click Remove to clear the current picture.
This picture appears in Gmail and Outlook when sending emails — a consistent identity boosts trust.
Under Account Information, you can modify the username:
Example:
If your domain is referralsportal.com and username is lyamen,
the email becomes lyamen@referralsportal.com
Note: Changing the username modifies the actual login email for this mailbox.
Under Personal Information, update:
First Name
Last Name
This name appears as the sender name in recipients’ inboxes.
Once you’re done, click Save Changes at the bottom of the modal.
If you want to discard your edits, click Reset.
You can update the following anytime from Mailbox → More → Settings:
Profile Picture
First Name
Last Name
Username
These updates directly affect how your outreach emails appear to leads, helping maintain identity consistency and improving deliverability.
Important Note:
If you make any changes to mailbox details (name, username, profile picture), you must run a new Export so that these updates reflect in your Sequencers as well. InboxKit does not automatically sync updated mailbox identities to your existing sequences.
