## **Step-by-Step Guide**

### **Step 1 — Go to the Mailboxes Section**

1. On the left sidebar, click **Mailboxes**.

2. You’ll see a list of all active mailboxes, along with their email, platform, status, and renewal date.

### **Step 2 — Open Mailbox Settings**

1. Find the mailbox you want to update.

2. On the right side of the row, click **More**.

### **Step 3 — Navigate to the Settings Tab**

A mailbox modal will open with multiple tabs at the top:

- **Settings**

- **Forwarding**

Click **Settings**.

## **What You Can Edit in Settings**

You can upload a sender image or generate a GIF:

- Click **Upload Picture** to add a photo (JPG, PNG, GIF up to 5MB).

- Click **Generate GIF** for an AI-generated animated profile avatar.

- Click **Remove** to clear the current picture.

### **2\. Username (Local-Part of the Email)**

Under **Account Information**, you can modify the username:

Example:
If your domain is `referralsportal.com` and username is `lyamen`,
the email becomes **lyamen@referralsportal.com**

> **Note:** Changing the username modifies the actual login email for this mailbox.

### **3\. Sender Name (First Name & Last Name)**

Under **Personal Information**, update:

- **First Name**

- **Last Name**

This name appears as the sender name in recipients’ inboxes.

### **Step 4 — Save Your Changes**

Once you’re done, click **Save Changes** at the bottom of the modal.

## **Summary**

You can update the following anytime from Mailbox → More → Settings:

✔ Profile Picture
✔ First Name
✔ Last Name
✔ Username

These updates directly affect how your outreach emails appear to leads, helping maintain identity consistency and improving deliverability.

**Important Note:**

If you make any changes to mailbox details (name, username, profile picture), **you must run a new Export** so that these updates reflect in your **Sequencers** as well. InboxKit does not automatically sync updated mailbox identities to your existing sequences.
