# A Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Wallet Credits and Enabling Auto-Topup

A Step-by-Step Guide to Adding Wallet Credits and Enabling Auto-Topup

InboxKit allows you to fund your wallet using **one-time credit purchases** or by enabling **automatic top-ups**. Credits are used for domain purchases, mailbox renewals, pre-warmed resources, inbox placement tests, and other add-ons.

You can add credits from two places:

- **Settings → Billing → Add Credits**

- **Dashboard (top-right corner) → Add Credits**

## **1\. Adding One-Time Credits**

1. Go to **Settings → Billing → Add Credits**
_OR_ click **Add Credits** from the top-right corner.

2. Select **One-time Purchase**.

3. Enter the number of credits you want to buy (1 credit = 1 USD).

4. Click **Proceed to Checkout**.

5. Complete the Stripe payment:

    - Enter your **card details**.

    - Enter your **billing address**.

6. Once payment is successful, the credits are immediately added to your wallet.

**Note:**
If it's your first time adding credits, Stripe will require full card + address details.
From the next time onward, payment is one click because your card is already saved.

## **2\. Enabling Auto Top-Up (Recommended)**

Auto Top-Up ensures you never run out of credits for renewals.

1. Open **Add Credits**.

2. Switch to the **Auto Top-up** tab.

3. Enable the Auto Top-up toggle.

4. Set:

    - **Trigger Balance** → the credit level at which the auto top-up should activate.
Example: Trigger when wallet goes below **100 credits**.

    - **Amount to Add** → how many credits to add automatically.
Example: Add **150 credits** when triggered.

5. Save the configuration.

### **Important Requirement**

Before enabling Auto Top-up for the first time:

- You **must** have a **default card** saved in the **Stripe Billing Portal**.
(Settings → Billing → _Open Stripe Billing Portal_)

Once enabled, InboxKit will automatically charge your card and add credits whenever your wallet balance drops below the trigger level.
