InboxKit allows you to easily connect domains you already own from any registrar such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, Porkbun, Hostinger, IONOS, Dynadot, or others. Once connected, InboxKit will automatically configure all DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX) on your behalf.
This guide walks you through the entire process:
Connect → Update Nameservers → Verify → Activate
How to Connect Your Existing Domains to InboxKitYou can connect your domains one-by-one OR upload up to 250 domains via CSV. Once added, InboxKit will generate nameservers that you must update in your domain registrar.
Step 1: Go to Domains → Connect ExistingInside InboxKit:
Go to Domains in the sidebar
Click Connect Existing
You’ll see two options at the top-right:
Connect Existing
Buy Domain
Click Connect Existing to proceed.
Step 2: Add Your DomainsYou can add existing domains using:
Type your domain into the field
Press Enter
Repeat for multiple domains
Click Connect
Paste 2–50 domains at a time
Each must be on a new line
Click Connect
Click Upload CSV File
Upload a file containing up to 250 domain names
Click Connect
Note: InboxKit allows a maximum of 250 non-connected domains at once.
You can re-add removed domains any time.
Step 3: Get Nameservers Generated by InboxKitOnce you click Connect, InboxKit will generate two nameservers for each domain, for example:
ns1.inboxkit-dns.com
ns2.inboxkit-dns.com
These nameservers are unique to InboxKit’s DNS automation system.
You MUST update these in your registrar within 12 hours, otherwise the domain will auto-expire and must be re-added.
Step 4: Update Nameservers in Your Domain RegistrarGo to the domain provider where your domain was purchased (e.g., Namecheap, GoDaddy, etc.).
Replace the existing nameservers with the two provided by InboxKit.
Example:
Old nameservers (to delete):
InboxKit nameservers (to add):
Click Save or Update in your registrar.
Propagation Time:
It may take 24–48 hours for nameserver changes to propagate fully.
Step 5: (Optional) Enable Auto-Sync NameserversInboxKit lets you directly connect your domain registrar so nameservers can sync automatically.
To use auto-sync:
Click Enable Auto-sync
Sign in with your registrar credentials (supports major registrars)
InboxKit will automatically update nameservers when new domains are added
This is ideal for:
Agencies
High-volume senders
Users managing dozens or hundreds of domains
Step 6: Verify Domain Status (Propagation Check)Once nameservers are updated:
Scroll to the Connected Domains section
Find your domain
Click Check
Statuses include:
Not Connected → Nameservers not yet updated
Checking → Verification in progress
Active → Nameservers successfully propagated
Only Active domains can be used for mailbox creation.
Step 7: Domain Becomes Active → Ready for MailboxesOnce your domain reaches Active status:
SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX will be automatically configured by InboxKit post mailbox creation
No additional manual setup is required
You can immediately start creating Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 mailboxes
Important NotesNameservers must be updated within 12 hours of connecting the domain
InboxKit automatically configures DNS once domain becomes Active post mailbox setup
You may re-add expired domains anytime to regenerate nameservers
You can bulk-check statuses using Bulk Sync → Select All Not Connected
You're All Set!Your existing domains are now connected to InboxKit.
Once they turn Active, they are fully ready for mailbox creation, warm-up, and sequencer export.
